Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. We are a DDD-focused agency offering consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team that sets Direct Support Professionals up for success.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will work one-on-one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person’s Individualized Service Plan

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and motivated to make a difference
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Prior caregiving, DSP or human services experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support
