Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Mississippi to provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You’ll help with daily living tasks and encourage engagement in social activities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background check and required training.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities.
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately and timely.
• Communicate with team members to ensure consistent, quality support.
