Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one home and community support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Southaven, MS and surrounding areas. You will help with daily living skills, promote independence, and encourage community participation.

Starting pay ranges from $14 to $16 per hour with flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid training, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and required training completed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals develop daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care).
• Provide hands-on assistance and encourage independence.
• Transport and support participation in shopping and community activities.
• Help progress toward personal goals, promoting choice and self-advocacy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and progress.
• Communicate with team to ensure quality support.
