Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility in Virginia. This on-site role emphasizes improving resident health through individualized nutrition care and education.

You will work with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to positive resident outcomes. The position offers Monday–Friday schedules and a retention bonus.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• State license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assess the clinical nutrition needs of residents and document the plan in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on clinical findings, lab results, weight trends, intake, and comorbidities.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine a plan of care that improves residents'/patients’ health.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs, and as desired.
• All other duties as assigned.
