Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX seeks a PRN RN III for Days/Flex Nursing to deliver direct patient care across age groups. You will assess patients, implement and adjust care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team while educating patients and staff.

Bilingual English/Spanish and strong communication are valued; some evenings or weekends may be required. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with TX RN license or Compact State license, and hold BLS/ACLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required.
• Current Texas RN license or Compact State license required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required; PALS/TNCC if required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in daily practice.
• Performs accurate physical, emotional, and psychosocial patient assessments.
• Initiates and updates the plan of care with sound clinical judgment.
• Delivers teaching and instructions to patients and ensures treatments are carried out.
• Maintains accurate charting and follows hospital policies.
