Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Texas is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, professional service throughout the store.

You will work across departments, assist with locating merchandise, process orders and returns, and ensure customers have a positive shopping experience. The role offers training, opportunities to learn new trade skills, and access to Lowe's benefits and discount programs.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience (inputting, accessing, modifying data)
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Able to stand for long periods and perform duties as required
• Minimum lift 25 lb (unassisted)

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Restock merchandise by replenishing shelves and updating stock levels
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
