Job summary

Hertz Tampa is looking for a Flexible Customer Service Associate to guide customers through the rental process while delivering world-class service. You will contribute to sales, handle objections, and support a smooth pickup experience. The role includes shuttling customers and ensuring vehicles are ready for pickup, including cleaning and basic checks.

The schedule runs 10am to Midnight, Tuesday through Saturday, totaling 40 hours per week. Perks include competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend and twist, drive, lift, and read.
• Knowledge of operating office equipment such as computer terminals and telephones.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on their rental to determine needs.
• Actively offer products and services to maximize revenue.
• Shuttle customers as needed during the rental process.
• Ensure vehicles are prepared for pickup, including cleaning and basic inspection.
• Assist with fueling and fluid checks and assess minor damage.

Flexible Customer Service Associate consults with customers on their rental. Maximizing revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services and overcoming customer objections. Ensures that the customer receives world-class customer service and sales support. The responsibilities also include shuttling customers. This position also ensures vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, which includes cleaning vehicles. assessing damage, fueling, and refilling all fluids.

Wage: $17.00/hr

Schedule: 10am to Midnight, Tuesday through Saturday (40 hours per week)

Qualifications

Strong oral and written communication of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Applicant must possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following such as sitting, standing, waking, bending and twisting, climbing, driving, pushing and pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, seeing, and reading. Knowledge of equipment operation such as computer terminal, telephone, calculator, copy machine, and fax machine is required.
