Hertz is seeking a Flexible Customer Service Associate in Fort Lauderdale. You will engage customers during rentals, offering relevant products and services to boost revenue while overcoming objections.

The role includes shuttling customers and ensuring vehicles are prepared for pickup, including cleaning and basic fuel/maintenance checks. This position emphasizes world-class service, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and twist, drive, lift and perform physical tasks as required.
• Familiarity with basic office equipment such as computer terminals, phones, calculators, copiers, and faxes.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on their rental, offering products and services to maximize revenue and address objections.
• Shuttle customers and ensure smooth pickup and return experience.
• Prepare vehicles for customer pickup, including cleaning, inspecting for damage, fueling, and refilling fluids.

The Flexible Customer Service Associate consults with customers on their rental. Maximizing revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services and overcoming customer objections. Ensures that the customer receives world-class customer service and sales support. The responsibilities also include shuttling customers. This position also ensures vehicles are prepared for customer pick-up, which includes cleaning vehicles. assessing damage, fueling, and refilling all fluids. Wage: $17.00/hr

Qualifications

Strong oral and written communication of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Applicant must possess all auditory, speaking and communicating capabilities necessary to complete the responsibilities detailed above. The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following such as sitting, standing, waking, bending and twisting, climbing, driving, pushing and pulling, speaking, hearing, writing, lifting, seeing, and reading. Knowledge of equipment operation such as computer terminal, telephone, calculator, copy machine, and fax machine is required.
