Beacon Mobility is hiring a School Bus Driver in North Reading, MA to transport students and passengers on field trips and events in a safe, timely manner with provided directions.

You will operate a school bus, assess traffic, monitor passenger behavior, and comply with state and federal laws while maintaining CDL credentials and company certifications. Training is provided to obtain CDL B with S&P endorsements as needed.

Competenze

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver's license for 3+ years.
• Clear driving record with no suspensions.
• Ability to pass background, CORI & SORI checks.
• CDL B with S&P endorsements or willing to obtain.
• Willing to drive to various locations and adapt to changes.

Requirements

• Age 21+ & have had a valid driver’s license for 3+ consecutive years.

• Satisfactory Driving Record (no suspension etc.)

• Ability to pass a background check, CORI & SORI

• CDL B w/ S&P endorsementsOR willing to obtain

• Willing to drive to a variety of locations

• Need to be flexible withlast minutechanges

WhatYou’llBe Doing:

• Operate a school bus to transport authorized passengers to and from field trips, sporting events,and more in a safe andtimelymanner withprovided directions.

• Assess traffic and road conditions,monitorpassengerbehaviorand otherfactorsas necessary.

• Follow all state and federal traffic laws while operatingvehicle.

• Maintain proper CDL and state school bus certifications including adhering to state and federal guidelinesregardingcriminal, medical, drug test and driving records.

• Assistpassengers onto and off the vehicle when necessary.

• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and safety checks as required by company standards and state guidelines.
