Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Carroll County is seeking a compassionate, part-time caregiver to assist older adults in their homes in Carroll County, including Westminster and surrounding areas.

You will help with daily tasks such as light housekeeping, meals, and errands, with additional support for clients with dementia. A valid driver7s license and reliable vehicle are required, and you will undergo a background check.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• Valid driver0s license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Willingness to travel within Carroll County.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for older adults in their homes, assisting with daily tasks to promote independence.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands as needed.
• Provide care for clients with dementia or cognitive changes with a respectful approach.
• Keep accurate notes on each shift and check in with the office to ensure continuity of care.
