Job summary

Griswold Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults in Carroll County, MD. This part-time role offers scheduling flexibility, community-based care, and the chance to help clients live independently at home.

You’ll work with a supportive team and receive weekly pay, with benefits such as paid sick and holidays. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assisting with daily activities.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification is required
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel within Carroll County
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check
• CNA certification is a plus, but not a requirement
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• As a Caregiver, you help older adults stay in the homes they love and maintain independence
• You assist with everyday tasks such as light housekeeping, cooking meals, and grocery shopping
• You may care for clients living with dementia or other cognitive changes with a patient and kind approach
• You keep accurate notes on each shift and check in with the office to ensure consistent care
• You head home each day knowing you made a real difference in someone’s life
