Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Carroll County is seeking compassionate, part-time caregivers to help seniors stay in their homes across Carroll County and nearby areas. You’ll support daily tasks, light housekeeping, meals, errands, and transportation, with dignity and independence at the forefront.

CPR certification is required; CNA is a plus but not required. TB clearance, a valid driver's license, pet-friendly homes, and a criminal background check are needed.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
• Comfortable working in pet-friendly homes (cats and dogs).

Responsibilities

• Help older adults stay independent at home with daily tasks.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and errands.
• Support clients living with dementia with meals and personal care.
• Keep accurate notes on each shift and coordinate with the office for consistent care.
