Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Frederick County is actively hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults throughout Frederick County, Maryland. As a Caregiver, you support clients with daily tasks so they can stay in their homes and live life on their own terms.

You may assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands, while staying patient and kind with clients who have dementia or cognitive changes.

Qualifications

• CPR Certification required.
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Willingness to travel within the Frederick County service area.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking to older adults in their homes.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands while promoting independence.
• Support clients in daily activities and maintain dignity and respect at all times.
• Keep accurate notes and communicate with office to ensure consistent care across visits.
