Job summary

A community-focused behavioral health organization is seeking a Behavioral Consultant to provide evidence-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. The role emphasizes flexibility and collaboration with families. Preferred availability includes daytime and weekends. The contractor must have a master's degree in a relevant field, experience with behavioral assessments, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation starts at $55.68 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from clients' locations is required.
• Strong experience with Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans.
• Must not be excluded from federal healthcare programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Functional Behavior Assessments and ongoing evaluation.
• Teach and coach caregivers and team members on behavior support strategies.
• Develop, implement, and revise Behavior Support Plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and with a team

Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments

Experience writing Behavior Support Plans

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Familiarity with Google Workspace

Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards

Education

Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Social Work, or related field
