Job summary

A flexible behavioral health service provider is seeking a Behavioral Consultant to provide evidence-based support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include conducting functional assessments, developing behavior support plans, and collaborating with teams to enhance client care. The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and experience working with individuals with disabilities. This contracted position requires a commitment to flexible schedules and is primarily in-home and community-based.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from clients' locations.
• Experience writing Behavior Support Plans.

Responsibilities

• Complete functional assessments and develop behavior support strategies.
• Teach and coach caregivers and staff on behavior support strategies.
• Collaborate with case managers and other interdisciplinary team members.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments

Experience working with individuals with development disabilities

Ability to work independently and with a team

Education

Master’s degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, or related field
