Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School in Hamburg / Lexington, KY is seeking an Assistant General Manager - Aquatics & Team Leadership to lead our aquatic team and deliver outstanding family experiences.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will supervise instructors, support staff scheduling, drive safety, and help achieve revenue goals while fostering a positive team culture.

This full-time role offers paid training, growth paths, and flexible scheduling to balance life and work commitments.

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience in related fields.
• Strong communication skills and comfort speaking to groups.
• Willingness to teach in water and train in Aqua‑Tots curriculum.
• Able to work in the United States and reliable transportation.
• Able to work one weekend day and two closing shifts weekly.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop swim instructors and aquatic staff.
• Support scheduling, onboarding, and retention of team members.
• Maintain safety, curriculum, and customer experience standards.
• Build relationships with families and support sales goals.
• Keep the facility safe, clean, and aligned with brand standards.
