Job summary

Accurate ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA. The role includes one-on-one therapy, data collection, and collaboration with families across homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred), completion of a 40-hour ABA training, and an active RBT certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Completion of a 40-hour training course in ABA and competency assessment.
• Current RBT certification issued by BACB.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or related needs preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIPs designed by the BCBA to address target behaviors and skill deficits.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in homes, schools, clinics, and community settings.
• Collect accurate data on client progress using specified methods.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment goals based on assessments.
• Implement behavior reduction procedures to decrease challenging behaviors.
• Provide ongoing feedback to the BCBA about progress and observations.
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and professionals.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA.
