Job summary
Dragonfly Cares is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to provide after-school 1:1 ABA services for children with autism and developmental differences. The role is part-time with flexible afternoons and weekends, in center and in-home settings serving Long Island.
You will receive onboarding and supervision from experienced BCBAs, with support to obtain or maintain RBT certification within 30 days of placement.
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or commit to obtaining RBT certification within 30 days of placement.
- Experience with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays is a plus.
- Excellent communication, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy with children, following supervising BCBA plans.
- Collect and record behavioral data to track progress and guide treatment decisions.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and families.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation that meets clinical and insurance standards.
- Participate in supervision and ongoing trainings to grow clinical skills.
