Job summary

Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. seeks a Part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver hands-on PT in patients' homes under a PT's supervision.

You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function, with a strong emphasis on home safety and documentation. The role offers a 20-hour weekly schedule with flexible options, no evenings or holidays, and opportunities for professional development and team engagement across Northern Massachusetts

Qualifications

Current registration with the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Two years experience in acute care, rehab or homecare as a PTA.
Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new systems.
Willingness to travel throughout Mass General Brigham Healthcare at Home's geographic area.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on physical therapy in patients' homes under the direction of a physical therapist.
Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance and function.
Implement individualized treatment plans based on the PT's plan of care.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home safety.
