Mass General Brigham Home Care is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support patients in their homes across Northern Massachusetts and surrounding areas. You’ll manage your own patient visits with a strong team backing you, ensuring high-quality orthopedic-focused care.

Formación

• Active registration with the Massachusetts Board of Registration to practice physical therapy.
• Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in acute care, rehab, or homecare.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and adapt to changing situations.
• Willingness to travel throughout Mass General Brigham Healthcare at Home’s geographic area.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on the physical therapist’s plan of care.
• Recommend and reinforce fall prevention and home safety strategies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and strategies to support progress at home.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the physical therapist.
• Document patient visits, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with the physical therapist and interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient care.

Conocimientos

Massachusetts Board registration

Two years experience as PTA
