Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is seeking experienced tutors to provide 1:1 ESL instruction to students via the Cosmo curriculum. Sessions are 50 minutes, with a flexible weekly schedule and a commitment to reliability and professionalism. Tutors must have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching experience; TEFL is a plus.

Remote work from the US/Canada with a minimum 20 hours weekly availability. Compensation is $20 USD per class, with additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; TEFL preferred but not required.
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC.
• Available 6-9 AM EST Mon-Fri or weekends; 20+ hours weekly.
• Currently located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
