Crestron Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Flex Support Engineer to join the on-site team in New Jersey. The role focuses on unified communications and intelligent video platforms, handling support calls, documenting issues, and driving resolution with our Crestron Flex solutions.

You will determine problem specifics, review configuration, analyze logs, and coordinate with service providers. Expect responsibilities including RMAs, knowledgebase contributions, and continuous customer support across

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Unified Communications platforms (MS Teams, Zoom)
• Read and interpret system schematics, floorplans, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal/written/verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining customer rapport ensuring they understand Crestron is with them through every step of the process.
• Determine specifics for the reported problem, including but not limited to: clear description of the reported problem; number of deployed systems impacted; current hardware/firmware/software configurations; deployment environment.
• Review published documentation with customer, including Crestron and conferencing service provider documentation where applicable.
• High level analysis of log files; basic analysis of customer network; verify conferencing service configuration through appropriate portal (O365/Zoom).
• Create RMAs as needed for customer site; assist in knowledgebase creation of training material and tools; other duties as required
