Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Flex Officer in Harmar, PA. The role offers a $22.50/hour wage with shifts up to 40 hours per week (5:00PM-3:00AM).

You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while using our shift-pickup platform to view open shifts according to your availability. As a Security Professional Flex Officer, you may be assigned to multiple industries including Healthcare and Education.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or notify police/fire department in emergencies.
• Warn violators of infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
