Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to select open shifts, building a schedule that fits your availability while gaining site experience across Healthcare, Education, and Finance sectors.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with possible increases after training. This part-time role may require irregular hours and quick call-ins, with opportunities for growth and variety on different client

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local law.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and consoles.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper client procedures.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per post orders.
