Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients in multiple industries. You will use a shift-pickup platform to view, claim open shifts, and build a schedule around your availability, gaining hands-on experience across sites. The role may require irregular shifts with little notice.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour. Applicants should be flexible, transport-ready, and capable of working varying shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio or console equipment and communicate with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
