Allied Universal is hiring a Security Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to choose open shifts based on availability, building a schedule that fits your life while gaining site experience.

The role offers entry-level opportunities with no prior experience required, a pay rate of $19.80 per hour, and the chance to develop skills in security operations, incident reporting, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• No prior experience required; reliability and adaptability to different posts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.)
• Monitor entrances and exits and permit authorized access
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors politely
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders
