Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Flex Mobile Patrol in Birmingham, AL. You will protect clients across industries, greet staff and visitors, and maintain a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply; a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing; document observations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly; coordinate with site leadership and responders.
• Document security observations and patrol activity in reports.
