Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer in Decatur, AL. This part-time role uses our shift-pickup platform to claim shifts that fit your availability, offering hands-on site experience across healthcare, education, finance, and more.

Starting base pay is $17.00 per hour; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required. Workdays are flexible, and you may be called for irregular shifts with short notice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license if operating company or customer vehicles.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Must be 18+ years old (21+ if armed where required).
• Ability to adapt to different post assignments and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor entrances and exits and authorize access as needed.
• Respond to alarms and emergency services when required.
• Observe and report irregular conditions and incidents.
• Assist customers, staff, and visitors professionally.
• Prepare reports on incidents and maintain required logs.
• Communicate effectively using radios or consoles.
