Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to safeguard clients across industries. You’ll view and claim open shifts via our shift-pickup platform, building a flexible schedule while gaining site experience.

The role may require irregular shifts with little notice. You’ll join a leading global security company offering paid orientation, career growth, and a part-time wage of $23.59 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; can consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Ability to operate radio/monitors and communicate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication, active listening and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure compliant removals.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and suspicions; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
