Job summary

Holman is seeking a Flex Warehouse/Back up Driver in Brownstown Township, MI to support parts delivery, inventory management and warehouse operations. Starting pay is $21 per hour, with a shift Mon–Fri from 6am. Benefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and more.

Eligible for benefits within 30 days of employment. The role requires forklift/pallet jack experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication skills to coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull part purchases from stock and deliver to drivers.
• Stock incoming parts and return parts.
• Maintain inventories of all inventoried items.
• Bar code incoming parts and equipment.
• Receive packing slips and verify quantities against POs.
• Package inventory and purchased items for shipment.
• Unload delivery trucks.
• Load and deliver automobile parts to customers; load/unload with pallet jack or forklift.
• Scan and log returned goods; track delivery of goods and returns.
• Perform daily DOT safety checks and report deficiencies.

What will you do?

• Pull part purchases from stock and deliver to drivers.
• Stock incoming parts and return parts.
• Maintain inventories of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled).
• Bar coding on all incoming parts and equipment.
• Receive packing slips and verify quantities for parts against purchase orders.
• Gather and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
• Unload delivery trucks.
• Able to lift heavy boxes.
• Able to operate a forklift.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
• Load, secure, and deliver automobile parts (engines, transmissions, small parts, etc.) to customers.
• Drive to customer locations and off load and reload truck. Loading is performed with a pallet jack or forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Use Scanner/print pad to Scan/log returned goods; track delivery of goods and returns.
• Check-in finished goods before loading vehicle.
• Perform daily DOT safety check/inspection on vehicle and report deficiencies to manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Prior warehouse experience

• Strong verbal and written communication skills- able to communicate problems/delays with pick-ups/deliveries/inventory to internal stakeholder
