Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to provide service to our customers and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Duties include cleaning, maintenance, inspections, parts removal and reconditioning under manuals guidance, with at least one year of fleet/dealership experience.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training to stay current with factory bulletins and processes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of fleet or dealership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; ASE certification preferred; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Examine guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure they run smoothly.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
