Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to provide service to customers while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintenance, inspections, and disassembly/assembly with proper manuals, reporting, and reconditioning.

A minimum of one year of fleet, dealership, or technical school experience is expected. The role emphasizes following checklists, safety, and ongoing training to stay current with factory bulletins, while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification preferred and CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Follow checklists to ensure critical parts are examined.
• Examine guards, bolts, and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and keep up with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to improve satisfaction.

Education
