Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to service customer vehicles while maintaining exceptional customer service. Duties include cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and removal of parts and attachments.

Installation with manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reconditioning, and reconditioning will be performed with proper guidance. The successful candidate will have at least one year of fleet, dealership, and/or technical school

Qualifications

1 year of fleet or dealership experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
ASE certification preferred.
CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
Read job orders and observe vehicle operation to determine malfunctions and plan procedures.
Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
Inspect guards, bolts and safety devices and adjust as needed.
Test-drive vehicles to ensure smooth operation.
Attend training classes and keep up with factory bulletins.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
