Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is looking for an experienced, full-time Service Technician. This role is responsible for providing service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Duties can include cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, and removal of parts and attachments. Installation with manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning are involved.

Qualifications

• 1 year of fleet or dealership experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE certification is preferred.
• CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job order, observe and listen to determine malfunction and plan work.
• Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
• Examine guards, bolts, and safety devices; adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure they run smoothly.
• Tag warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and keep up with factory bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
