Performance Contracting Group in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Fleet & Transportation Manager to lead a team of 4–6 and optimize the company fleet across procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle programs.

The role collaborates with senior leadership to ensure safety, compliance with DOT regulations, cost control, and effective telematics systems, while guiding strategy for environmental initiatives and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fleet operations, transportation logistics, and DOT compliance.
• Experience with fleet budgeting, cost analysis, and lifecycle costing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with telematics and fleet-management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a fleet team of 4–6 members with coaching and performance oversight.
• Develop and implement fleet goals, policies, and priorities.
• Provide leadership input on fleet policy, financials, safety, and compliance.
• Administer vehicle replacement programs and lifecycle optimization.
• Manage fuel usage programs to monitor consumption and costs.
• Collaborate with branch managers on freight and logistics solutions.
