Job summary

Superior Plus Propane in the United States seeks a Director, Field Operations to lead our transportation fleet and terminal operations. This safety-focused leader will shape operational strategy and drive performance improvements across assets.

You will oversee driver staffing, maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with HS&E teams to deliver safe, reliable service. Reporting to the VP of Primary Logistics, the role offers growth and impact in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leadership experience in transportation or field operations.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management and regulatory requirements.
• Experience using Samsara or similar telematics to boost safety and efficiency.
• Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a safety-first culture across fleet and terminal teams.
• Optimize fleet operations, including staffing, utilization, and maintenance.
• Lead terminal operations excellence with regulatory compliance and asset management.
• Partner with Sales, Supply, Logistics, and Procurement to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective service.
