Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves installing and supporting GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers.

You’ll travel to customer sites for mobile installations, perform 12V/24V wiring, test connectivity, and document installations with photos and notes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical or installation experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around vehicles.
• 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
• Perform 12V/24V wiring and route wiring for clean installations.
• Test system connectivity and diagnose issues.
• Travel to customer sites for mobile installations.
• Document installations with photos and notes.
• Maintain safety and quality, right-first-time installations.
