PepsiCo Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles used to deliver Lay’s, Doritos, and Cheetos. You’ll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with senior mechanics to handle more complex repairs.

The role requires a CDL, physical stamina to lift 50 lbs+, and the ability to work on/under trucks for long shifts. Expect a structured, safety‑driven environment with on‑the‑job training and steady hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Weekend, holiday, and off-shift work possible.
• Valid D10K Certification.
• Driver's license must be valid; not suspended for moving violations in past 3 years.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Able to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• Will work on/under trucks for 8–12 hours per shift.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately bill parts and labor to work orders.
• Build relationships with vendors for parts or outside labor estimates.
