Job summary

PepsiCo in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet vehicles, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform preventative maintenance on trucks.

The role requires CDL and a D10K certification, physical ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work 8–12 hour shifts, including weekends. You will collaborate with experienced mechanics and vendors to keep our delivery fleet reliable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Weekend/holiday work may be required.
• Valid D10K Certification is required.
• CDL license or CDL certification preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds or more.
• Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• Able to work in tight spaces and under trucks for long shifts (8–12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventative maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on complex repairs.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center as needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and charge parts and labor to work orders.
• Build relationships with vendors for parts estimates and outside labor.
