Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Fairborn, OH is hiring a fleet maintenance technician to service a diverse fleet including automobiles, trucks, vans and forklifts. Start times range from 4:30 am to 7 am with end times from 1 pm to 3:30 pm based on bid schedules, and pay is $31.05 per hour.

The role includes hands-on preventive maintenance and independent repairs. You will use diagnostic tools, document vehicle records, and respond to service calls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).
• Reach, lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with a high degree of independence.
• Use leading-edge tools and diagnostic technology to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Maintain and grow your skills working on PepsiCo's diverse fleet equipment, including automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnose failures and disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain documentation and records (vehicle records and checklists) and respond to service calls when needed.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with a high degree of independence

• Maintain and grow your skills working on Pepsis diverse fleet equipment, including automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid CDL { } License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation)
