Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a fleet technician in Benicia, CA to maintain and repair a diverse fleet, ensuring brands reach communities safely and on time. You will perform PMs, diagnose issues, and handle records using provided tools.

The role requires certifications (Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty) and at least 1 year of related experience or training. Training provided for diagnostic tasks; on-the-go work and a fast-paced environment are typical.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).
• Reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation).
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with independence.
• Use diagnostic tools and programs to diagnose issues (training provided).
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, forklifts).
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists).
• Support safety-first culture by following safety standards and answering service calls as needed.

• Work Days: Mon-Fri
• Start Time: 11 am
• End Time: 7:30 pm

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with a high degree of independence
• Use leading-edge tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided)
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts)
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists) using provided tools
• Support our safety-first culture by following all safety standards and procedures—and answering service calls as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
