Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fleet Technician II for Mobile Storage to perform intermediate refurbishment and repair across structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. You will follow work orders, document materials used, and assist CDL A drivers at customer sites.

The role requires a High School diploma, a valid driver's license, and 3–5 years of hands-on repair experience. You’ll work in a dynamic, safety-focused environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active state driver's license required.
• 3–5 years of experience with basic electrical, plumbing, or welding repairs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate refurbishment and repair on mobile storage equipment including structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work.
• Complete repairs following work orders and documentation in mobile applications.
• Travel to customer sites to set up mobile/modular offices and assist CDL A drivers as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized shop and yard and coach other technicians.
• Follow 5S guidelines and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
