Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fleet Technician I to maintain and repair Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment, including containers and office trailers. You will perform cleaning and maintenance safely, and assist CDL A drivers when needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid state driver’s license, basic IT skills, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs. This on-site position emphasizes safety and teamwork with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment per standards.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Travel to customer sites to set up office trailers and assist CDL A drivers when needed.
• Complete work orders and document time and materials used.
• Assist in equipment inspections and basic 5S organization of shop and yard.
