Job summary
The SYGMA Network in Harrisburg is seeking an experienced fleet technician to perform preventive maintenance inspections, diagnose complex issues, and repair fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability. This is a full-time role with a 4x10 work schedule (Tue-Fri, 3 PM start) and competitive pay.
Pay ranges from $27 to $30 per hour, with quarterly incentives, boot allowance of $125, and an annual tool allowance of $600.
Qualifications
- Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training is required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-year school with 1 year experience or 3 years fleet maintenance experience accepted.
- Current and valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to maximize safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Perform annual inspections on fleet vehicles in accordance with regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance per company methods on all fleet vehicles.
- Perform maintenance repairs for safety and reliability across all vehicle systems.
- Address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups promptly and efficiently.
- Diagnose malfunctions and repairs to manufacturer specifications including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
