Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance and expert diagnostics on our fleet in Harrisburg, PA. You will conduct routine inspections, diagnose complex issues, and perform required repairs to keep vehicles safe and reliable.

The role offers 4 x 10-hour shifts (Tue–Fri, 3 PM start) with incentives, boot and tool allowances, and a 401(k) plus stock purchase plan. CDL is preferred but not required, with benefits starting after 31 days of employment.

Qualifications

Education: two-year truck technical training and high school diploma or GED.
Experience: 4 years or 5 years in fleet maintenance and repair.
CDL preferred but not required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles to maximize safety and reliability.
Perform annual inspections (FAI/CVI) on tractors, trailers, and equipment per regulations.
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, drive-lines, electrical and HVAC systems.
Maintain documentation on work orders and mentor junior technicians.
Work overtime and adapt to shift schedule as needed.
