Job summary

TransWest in Everett, WA seeks qualified automotive technicians to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcoaches, shuttles, and fleet vehicles. You will use OEM diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot systems, document work, and ensure safe operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational automotive or heavy-duty diesel training preferred.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical, brake, powertrain, steering, suspension, HVAC systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software and specialized tools to troubleshoot systems and determine repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts inventory, and repair documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
