TransWest is expanding its fleet maintenance team in the Redmond area. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across motorcoaches, shuttles, and vans to keep thousands of passengers moving safely every day.

Ideal candidates have a technical automotive background, experience with diagnostic tools, and a willingness to obtain a DOT medical certificate. A structured career path and ongoing training are provided to advance through Technician levels A, B, or C.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Professional experience maintaining and repairing vehicles or completion of a vocational automotive or heavy-duty diesel program, or an associate degree.
• Placement within Technician career path based on experience and competencies.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT MEC) with company coverage.
• Experience on transit buses, motorcoaches, or fleet equipment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcoaches, shuttles, light-duty vehicles, and electric vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, electrical, fuel, and drivetrain components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, labor hours, and parts inventory.
• Use OEM diagnostic software and repair manuals to troubleshoot systems.
• Conduct road tests and field service calls to verify repairs and address breakdowns.
