Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Fort Worth, TX to maintain and repair fleet vehicles for our delivery teams. This full-time role starts with hands-on training in a fast-paced environment where safety and reliability are crucial.

You’ll diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, manage parts and labor charges in our systems, and collaborate with experienced mechanics and vendors to keep our routes moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You have a valid CDL Class A License.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in the past 3 years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You can climb, bend, reach, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
• You can work in tight spaces for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventive maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors for parts or outside labor estimates.

Quick Look

• Pay: $40 per hour
• Location: Fort Worth, TX
• Work Days: Monday-Friday with possible weekends
• Start Time: 3AM
• End Time: 11AM depending on needs

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You have a valid CDL Class A License
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. Your technical skill and preventative work ensure vehicles are reliable and communities stay stocked.
