Job summary

PepsiCo in Carrollton, TX is seeking a full-time Fleet Technician to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and support a busy distribution operation. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with complex repairs on a day shift, with potential weekend work.

CDL is required for return-to-center duties. You will work on trucks and collaborate with experienced mechanics, manage parts and labor charges, and liaise with vendors for estimates.

Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older.
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
• You have a valid D10K Certification.
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years.
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, including diagnosing mechanical issues and completing preventative maintenance.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics on more complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor

Quick Look

• Pay: $36 per hour


• Location: Carrollton, TX


• Work Days: Monday-Friday, possible weekend


• Start Time: 10AM


• End Time: 7PM

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older


• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
