PepsiCo Inc. in Ontario, CA, is seeking a fleet mechanic to maintain and repair company trucks and equipment. You will diagnose mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting alongside experienced mechanics. CDL is required for returning vehicles to the traffic center and for on-site shifting.

Formación

• You are at least 21 years of age or older.
• May be required to work on weekends, holidays, and off shifts.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle.
• Driver's license must not be suspended or revoked in the past 3 years.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more with or without accommodation.
• Able to work in tight spaces for extended periods.
• Will work on/under trucks for an 8–12 hour shift.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues and performing preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with experienced mechanics on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
• Return vehicles to the traffic center when needed (CDL required).
• Manage parts inventory and accurately charge parts and labor to work orders using provided systems.
• Build relationships with vendors when obtaining estimates for parts or outside labor.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are at least 21 years of age or older
• You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
• You have a valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle
• Your driver's license has not been suspended or revoked in connection with a moving violation within the past three (3) years
• You can lift 50 pounds or more with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You have the ability to work in tight spaces for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You will be required to work on/under trucks for an entire shift (8 to 12 hours) with or without a reasonable accommodation

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles to keep drivers safe and on the road delivering beloved brands like Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos. Your technical skill and preventative work ensure vehicles are reliable and communities stay stocked.
